Museum of Medical History

Experience the evolution of medicine from the Gold Rush to today in this unique museum presented by the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society. Exhibits include an iron lung, patent medicines and pharmacology, antibiotics and infectious diseases, Asian medicine, nursing, radiology, quackery and plenty of other tools that will make you grateful for today's modern medicine.

Powerhouse Science Center

An institution bringing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) experiences to life for Sacramento and surrounding communities for more than 65 years. Roseville Utility Exploration Center

The Roseville Utility Exploration Center is a one-of-a-kind learning center focused on inspiring stewardship of resources in everyday life. The Center teaches energy conservation, waste reduction, water-use efficiency, recycled water, watershed protection and wastewater management in a fun and engaging way. While you’re here, explore our hands-on exhibit hall, pick up a free Planet Protector comic book, participate in a green living workshop and join us at one of our community events.

Sacramento Children’s Museum

The Sacramento Children’s Museum (SCM) is designed for children, eight and younger, to "learn-by-doing!" At SCM we encourage families to explore, create and inspire. SCM includes hands-on exhibit areas featuring art, water, airways and raceways, a giant Lite Brite and fun activities. There is also special area for infants and toddlers to enjoy safe exploration.
